    The Senior Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general maintenance and orderliness of the property and oversight of the maintenance systems to ensure optimal operations and client/tenant satisfaction in accordance with department protocol.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for completion of work orders for tasks related to the physical maintenance and repairs of the assigned buildings utilizing work order related software programs
    • Responsible for implementing routine physical improvements
    • Respond to emergency situations in accordance with departmental protocol
    • Assist Supervisor in establishing and maintaining all equipment, tools, supplies in stock, inventories and logs
    • Implement, with Supervisor, a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan and maintain all related records and logs
    • Assist with controlling expenses associated with the operation of the buildings.
    • Communicate effectively to appropriate individual building status and changes
    • Adhere to all safety standards, policies & procedures, codes of conduct and best practices
    • Act in a professional and courteous manner at all times with tenants, hospital client, co-workers, vendors, patients, etc.
    • Utilize materials, supplies, tools and other building property in a safe, productive manner
    • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

    Requirements

    • 3+ of related work experience and technical training.
    • High school graduate or GED required, technical school training in maintenance related courses are preferred.
    • CFC Handling Certification is preferred
    • Ability to understand and interpret design documents, manufacturer's specifications and written operational procedures
    • Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure teamwork and positive client/tenant/co-worker relations
    • Be able to take direction and follow instructions
    • Must be safety conscious
    • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure accuracy and timely completion
    • Basic aptitude for mathematics
    • 24 hour availability for emergencies and as part of an on-call rotation.
    • Capable of doing extensive walking, climbing of stairs and ladders, lifting/carrying a minimum of 50 pounds by applying proper body mechanics
    • Willingness to work overtime on special projects as required.
    • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
    • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new job-related software
    • Have working knowledge of tools and their proper use

    The hourly rate available for this role considers a variety of factors including experience and location and starts at $25. The hourly rate is one part of the total rewards that Lillibridge provides to employees, which includes excellent medical benefits, generous PTO, and a 401K match.
