    Physical Location of School is in Vienna, Virginia

    Appletree is seeking professionals for full (or possible part) time hours who are passionate about teaching and working with children.

    We have been serving the community for over 40 years and are looking for dependable, creative, good natured individuals who have experience as lead teachers in either traditional or Montessori preschools with child care. Teachers need to exhibit a caring, loving attitude which will prepare the children for a love of learning. Our objective is to help children grow and develop mentally, physically, socially and spiritually in an atmosphere of love and acceptance.

    Duties will include preparing and implementing lesson plans, prepare and maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and needs (we also use an app, which helps with this), coordinate efforts with other preschool teachers during transitions and supervision of children in the classroom and on the playground.

    Company Description*Candidates must pass required state and company background checks
    *Must be 18 years of age with a high school diplomas or GED required
    *Early childhood coursework, CDA, Montessori Certification, or degree preferred
    *At least 1 year of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred
    *Be able to constantly move and interact with the children to develop positive relationships with those in their care
    *CPR and First Aid certified or willingness to obtain.
    *Be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
    *Take pride in working with children, have a strong work ethic, and a positive personality
    *Bring their "Best Self" to school everyday with any/all interactions with children, staff, and parents
