Job summary
Manages daily operation and administration of all City employee benefit plans including health insurance programs disability medical dependent daycare spending accounts retirement plans cancer plans Works with Chief Human Resources Officer benefits broker consultants in evaluation analysis of existing programs proposed enhancements modifications new programs.Responsibilities
Manage City Benefit Plans for All Employees and Retirees Manage administer coordinate all employee benefits including health dental life insurance programs disability medical dependent daycare spending accounts retirement plans cancer plans Ensure all benefit information in NaviLine/Payroll is current accurate Verify changes for employee benefits elections processed by Senior Benefits Analyst to ensure that payroll deduction changes are recorded one-time batches forwarded Payroll Accountant as necessary.Qualifications
Bachelor degree or equivalent human resource management business related field Over four years experience benefits administration Professional certification employee benefits e.g Certified Employee Benefits Specialist CEBS Certified Benefits Professional CBP WorldatWork designation preferred.Job description
