    What we need:

    The Controller, Outsourced, is responsible for leading and overseeing all accounting matters with an emphasis on financial reporting, cash management, controls, and accounting processes. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking and skilled business leader who will demonstrate a well-rounded background in accounting, compliance and internal controls. Have thoughtful and careful management and excellent communication skills. You are able to develop capacity and work collaboratively to find solutions to deliver results.

    What you will do:

    1. Supports the mission and vision of the outsourced client.

    2. Lead and oversee training and development for the Outsourced Accounting team.

    3. Directs the adequacy and maintenance of the company's system of accounts. Evaluates and develops internal controls and ensures that controls remain effective as organization's needs change, making recommendations and/or adjustments when needed, and communicating issues as they arise.

    4. Develops and maintains accounting policies, procedures, standards and internal controls and ensures uniform accounting practices, adequate internal controls and compliance with order or regulations issued by licensing agents and appropriate government agencies.

    5. Recommends benchmarks and metrics that will be used to measure the company's performance.

    5. Oversees financial report generation and ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards, as applicable.

    6. Provides financial analysis, with emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.

    7. Works with external auditors and provides needed information annual audits.

    8. Leads the organization through the annual operating budget process and coordinates with senior leadership to integrate with long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with strategic plans.

    9, Files monthly, quarterly and annual reports with grantors and other agencies, as applicable.

    9. Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.

    10. Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

    Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 8+ years of substantial experience in similar role.

    A current and valid CPA license is required.

    • ERP system experience with Sage Intacct and experience, preferred.

    About the Benefits:

    A robust benefit package is offered after 60-days of employment.
