Full job description:

CGS Global is hiring high apprentice and journeymen carpenters in the far east valley. Positions will be responsible for working on 2nd and 3rd open air floors doing rough carpentry to include building toe boards, handrails, elevator shaft safety railing, stair, and signage. Other duties will include designing, cutting, and measuring materials according to a client's requirements.

Qualified applicants must have Safety Course Certification for working on open air 2nd and 3rd floor of building, worked on commercial construction sites, have reliable transportation, completed an apprenticeship in carpentry or equivalent experience, coupled with good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Assisting supervisors with structural design, planning, layout, and installation.
• Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials.
• Proficient with industry hand and power tools.
• Compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.

Requirements:

***MUST BEFALL PROTECTION TRAINED AND CERTIFIED***

• MUST be ok working on open air 2nd and 3rd floors.
• MUST have all carpentry tools to effectively perform all job expectations.
• MUST have full harness equipment
• Journeyman Level or High Apprentice
• Rough Carpentry Skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour + depending on experience.
