Job DescriptionJob Summary: As an Electrician Helper / Apprentice, you will play a vital role in assisting our experienced electricians in installing electrical systems and equipment. Your technical skills and dedication to safety will contribute to the successful completion of projects and the overall efficiency of our electrical team.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the installation and repair of various electrical systems, including but not limited to:
   • Wiring switches, outlets, and light fixtures
   • Troubleshooting basic wiring issues
   • Utilizing a multimeter for diagnostics
   • Wiring standard breaker boxes
   • Pulling and cutting wire to specified lengths
2. Work collaboratively with experienced electricians to ensure projects are completed accurately and efficiently.
   
   
3. Familiarize yourself with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals to understand project requirements and layouts.
   
   
4. Ensure strict adherence to all quality and safety codes and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
   
   
5. Perform general maintenance tasks such as cleaning and organizing work areas and tools.
   
   
6. Continuously develop your skills and knowledge by actively participating in training sessions and seeking guidance from experienced electricians.
   
   
7. Adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines and regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards.
   
   
8. Assist in evaluating and diagnosing electrical problems, proposing effective solutions, and implementing necessary repairs under the guidance of experienced professionals.
   
   
9. Attend team meetings and communicate effectively to ensure smooth coordination and completion of projects.
   
   
10. Work collaboratively with other team members, demonstrating a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and contribute.
    
    
11. Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and punctuality in all work-related activities.
    
    

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in electrical or related fields is preferred but not required.
   
   
2. Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
   
   
3. Basic understanding of electrical equipment and hand tools.
   
   
4. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to assist in troubleshooting electrical issues.
   
   
5. A basic understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
   
   
6. Possession of a current electrical license or enrollment in an electrical apprenticeship program would be preferred.
   
   
7. Strong commitment to safety protocols and guidelines.
   
   
8. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
