Job Summary
The Concierge is responsible for enhancing the experience for patients, residents, families, and visitors by providing appropriate hospitality and concierge services.
Job Duties
Ensure room readiness for new admissions
Greet new admissions on arrival and ensure they are comfortable
Consult with nurses to discuss newly admitted patients
Provide leadership/Dept Head contact information as well as Hotline and Guest Services to residents and families
Orient new residents to the Unit and Facility
Respond to call lights and resident requests for assistance
Work with all relevant departments to communicate resident requests and/or concerns for follow up and resolution. Ensure that resolution has been achieved.
Conduct satisfaction surveys during residents stay and post discharge
Other assigned duties
Requirements
Experience in healthcare setting preferred
Exceptionally strong customer service
Excellent ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff at all levels of the organization.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and phone etiquette.
Experience in dealing with multiple demands simultaneously.
Ability to deal with people of varying personalities and temperaments.
Ability to take initiative to resolve immediate problems.
