    POSITION PURPOSE


    Dive Inn cooks are quick and responsible short order cooks who can handle all aspects of food preparation in a small eatery.

    Dive Inn cooks responsibilities include keeping food preparation areas clean, grilling, cooking, and frying foods, taking orders, and ordering and stocking kitchen and food supplies.

    Essential Functions

    • Grilling, cooking, and frying foods.
    • Preparing food to specifications and aware of any food allergens
    - managing orders to ensure all items of an order are finished and served at the same time.

    • Grilling and garnishing hamburgers and other meats.
    • Performing simple food preparation tasks, such as slicing up meats and vegetables.
    • Completing orders, plating the food, and serving to the customers.
    • Stocking and restocking supplies
    • Rotating food and stamping the time and date on the food in the coolers.
    • Cleaning food preparation equipment and areas.

    QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

    Education:
    Some High School required.


    Experience:
    No experience required.


    Physical Demands:
    Ability to lift 50lbs and be on your feet for long periods of time.


    General availability:
    Tuesday-Friday 10am-8pm

    Saturday-Sunday 9am-8pm
