    JOB SUMMARY
    Manages the organization's day-to-day advertising/marketing, media relations, creative editorial, social media and other communications services.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    The position may coordinate activities of support staff.
    Oversees other specific communications initiatives as needed.
    Other duties may be assigned.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
    May provide formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

    EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

    Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or a related discipline from 4-year college or university, and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience and/or training.

    Real estate experience is a plus, but not required.

    COMMUNICATION SKILLS
    Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to internal and external audiences.

    FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
    Requires intermediate to advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages. Conducts intermediate to advanced financial analysis.

    REASONING ABILITY
    Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
    OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
    Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills Advanced knowledge of Word. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of additional Microsoft Office applications.

    SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
    Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve general results. Errors in judgment may cause mid-term impact to coworkers, supervisor, department and/or line of business.
    CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience.

    The minimum salary for the Communications Manager position is $90,000.00 annually [or $43.27 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Communications Manager position is $115,000.00 annually [or $55.29 per hour].

    The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
