- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, chat or email
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues and/or advise user with appropriate actions
- Supports desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner
- Troubleshoots hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
- Identify and escalate network trends to appropriate level for resolution
- Works with team to execute long term upgrades to overall enterprise environment while installing and upgrading computer components and integrates automation processes
- Provides documentation and technical specifications for planning and implementing new deployments or upgrades to IT infrastructure
- Provides operations status as required and other duties as required DESIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS 6 years of related experience OR Associates degree in Computer/Information Technology and 4 years of related OR Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 years of related experience REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION, TECHNICAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE Associates or higher degree in Computer/Information Technology, or equivalent academic/technical training
- Must have specific experience in the use of MS window server environments and various computer-aided design / computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM), database, MS Office and Web enabled applications
- Must possess planning/organizing skills and must be able to work under deadlines
- Employee is expected to routinely cross fields in the completion of somewhat difficult and varied assignments
- Must be capable of updating or repairing computer systems
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Must possess a valid, state-issued driver's license

JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.SAir Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II
JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges
