    Neogen is seeking a Digital Marketing Strategist to assist with our fast-growing food safety diagnostic testing business in US and Canada.

    This role will work closely with the Food Safety Marketing Team, as well as other cross-functional departments such as Global Marketing and our Digital Solutions group.

    The primary goal of this position is to fully build and optimize the digital buyer journey for our customers to ensure Neogen maintains its leadership position in the food industry.

    As a Digital Marketing Strategist responsibility will include (other duties may be assigned):


    Strategy Development:


    Working closely with marketing team including Integrated, Product and Customer Marketing, to understand the Food Manufacturing Industry, key buyer personas and buying behaviors to develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with overall business goals.

    Identifying the critical digital touch points for our audiences and planning/creating digital experiences to serve customers along their journey. These experiences may include evergreen content initiatives, specific campaigns, or product launches.

    Devising Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) strategies that win on the search engine results page for search terms relevant to our business.

    This would include conducting keyword research, monitor rankings and implementing on-page and off-page optimization strategies.
    Understanding and using marketing automation and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) as part of digital experience strategy.
    Deeply understanding our go-to-market strategies, our product roadmaps and the competitive and industry dynamics that affect our business.

    Campaign Planning & Execution:
    Proactively managing user experience across the digital footprint to create a cohesive user journey. This may include multiple buyer personas.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute initiatives, ensure campaign integration, and brand consistency.
    Manage and optimize email marketing campaigns, from segmentation to A/B testing, to maximize audience engagement and conversions.

    Data Analysis and Optimization:
    Diving into our analytics tools to understand what is working and what needs improvement. Translating analytical results into actionable optimizations. Regular business reporting (monthly, quarterly).

    Development of recommended data driven UX improvements, or leading UX focused projects that translate innovative ideas and concepts into effective social platforms and online experiences.

    Strong experience in offline and online, paid, earned, and owned channels. Understanding of terms like SEO, SEM, social, display, attribution, retargeting, personalization, benchmarking, and content strategy.
    Advanced knowledge of digital platforms. Web design, web content, social media tools and platforms and marketing automation.

    Experience writing for the web, developing creative content, thinking about UX and navigation, and working with Content Management Systems (CMS).

    Project Management Skills. Must be able to self-direct your own activities utilizing effective time management and planning skills. This includes the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Also, directing cross-functional teams.
    Self-Motivation. You are willing to work independently and volunteer for new challenges without waiting to be asked.


    Required Qualifications:
    Minimum of 2 years of experience with similar responsibilities, 5 years in marketing roles

    Strong knowledge of marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms, such as analyzing information in Google Analytics, Google Search Console and AdWords.

    Working knowledge of site architecture, sitemaps, and web development.
    Experience with the LinkedIn platform and advertising tools
    Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
    Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    An analytical thinker with a results-oriented mindset.


    Bonus Qualifications:
    Experience with UTMs, lead scoring, and funnel optimization.
    Experience working in HTML.
    Experience with ABM.
    Experience with display advertising.
    A curiosity about writing or collaborating on engaging copy.
    Experience with project and budget management tools.
    Experience in B2B demand generation.
    Food production industry experience.
