    • Reporting to the Account Executive, company seeks an organized and highly motivated Account Manager for its newly revamped Employee Benefits group.

    The Account Manager will support the Sales team and Account Executive by expertly stewarding and maintaining existing carrier and client relationships with the high level of service to which clients have been accustomed.

    In addition to nurturing key client relationships, the Account Manager keeps track of all necessary documentation, monitors changes in policy, and stays on top of important deadlines.

    The position is responsible for day-to-day client management for a portfolio of roughly 30 cases with a goal of excellent customer service and high rates of retention.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:


    o Build and maintain client relationship in conjunction with Account Executive, including occasionally accompanying them on prospect or client meetings.

    o Maintain an in depth understanding of client needs & goals, providing service resulting in retention/renewal.o Support implementation of new lines of coverage by setting up accounts, collecting needed documentation, and reviewing plan details with Client and Carrier.

    Prepare and provide carriers with new case submission.

    (New business)o Assist the Account Executive in the renewal process for all assigned clients including requesting claims history, aiding in obtaining updated information:
    census data, carrier invoice, etc. (Renewal Business)o Lead and project manage the renewal marketing process, including preparing requests for proposals, spread sheeting, plan changes. (RFP process). o Maintain client files accurately and consistently document conversations, sending confirmations to clients.

    Provide consistent, accurate, and timely communication to clients through, verbal and written correspondence.o Develop relationships with insurance carriers to be recognized as a team member to generate optimal results for clients.o As needed, prepare materials for clients and open enrollment meetings including but not limited to carrier educational materials, Employee benefit guides PowerPoint presentations, reports and forms.o Ensure that client benefit plans remain in full compliance.


    o Open Enrollment:
    lead client open enrollment meetings.o Adhere and follow client timelines.


    REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
