    To lead and support the daily operations of the Extrusion and Twister departments by ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This position is responsible for coordinating shift activities, maintaining process standards, supporting changeovers and machine operation, training team members, and promoting clear communication to ensure consistent production flow.

    $19-$23/hour Depending on Experience

    Duties/Responsibilities:
    • Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Extrusion and Twister departments.
    • Coordinate with the Extrusion Manager on changeovers, process adjustments, safety, and housekeeping requirements.
    • Communicate with team members and manager to ensure smooth production flow.
    • Maintain accurate daily production reports and work orders.
    • Perform machine changeovers, including changing and building dies.
    • Ensure Extrusion and Twister machines operate according to process standards and produce quality products.
    • Start up and shut down machines following established procedures.
    • Blend resin according to documented procedures.
    • Package finished goods in compliance with required procedures.
    • Perform quality assurance checks and process verification checks.
    • Assist with training and onboarding of new operators.
    • Provide coverage for employees' meal and breaks.
    • Assist with sub-assembly operations as needed.
    • Follow all safety policies and company procedures.
    • Must be able to work all shifts, including overtime as needed
    • Ensure the building is secured and alarm systems are properly activated or deactivated at the end of the shift, as required.
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Experience in extrusion and/or twister manufacturing operations preferred
    • Prior lead or supervisory experience in a production environment preferred
    • Strong understanding of machine processes
    • Capable of maneuvering and lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently
    • Standing and walking for long periods of time
    • Ability to often stoop, kneel or crouch.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
    • Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
