    BrightView Health is seeking a dedicated Patient Access Specialist I for a Full-Time position in Cincinnati, OH.

    Join our team at BrightView Health as a Patient Access Specialist I, where you will play a crucial role in managing new patient intake, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling. You will ensure efficient operations within the contact center, schedule staff appointments, and contribute towards meeting utilization targets. A solid grasp of various medical field concepts and procedures is essential for this position.

    At BrightView, we are a leading outpatient addiction treatment program spanning across multiple locations including Arizona, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Ohio, and Virginia. Our primary goal is to provide transformative addiction care to our communities. We take a holistic approach to treating addiction as a disease, focusing on the physical, mental, and social well-being of our patients.

    Responsibilities:
    • Initiating new and existing patient scheduling requests
    • Conducting new patient intake and scheduling processes
    • Reviewing daily schedules
    • Communicating with office managers and providers regarding scheduling matters
    • Managing provider calendars
    • Ensuring adherence to patient scheduling protocols in the EMR system
    • Delivering exceptional customer service during scheduling interactions
    • Executing tasks assigned by the Lead Patient Access Specialist or Director
    • Participating in special projects or tasks as needed
    Requirements:
    • 1-3 years of relevant experience
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Valid driver's license
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
    • Experience with EMR systems

    Salary Range:

    $17.00 to $18.00 per hour
