    Caregiver Opportunity at Heartis Venice

Heartis Venice, managed by AgeWell Solvere Living, is seeking Caregivers/CNAs/HHAs/Wellness Associates to join our community and provide care to our residents.

    Certification is preferred but not mandatory.

    Job Summary

    The Wellness Associate role, reporting to the Wellness Director and Manager, involves providing personalized services and care to each resident based on their individual service plan.

    Essential Functions:

    • Assisting residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility
    • Monitoring residents' health and notifying the Wellness Director of any changes
    • Managing medical supplies and assisting with orders
    • Supporting in finding coverage for unexpected shifts
    • Assisting in onboarding new team members
    • Responding to emergencies and providing necessary medical assistance
    • Keeping residents' living spaces clean and organized
    • Attending to residents' needs promptly
    • Assisting with meal service, selection, and feeding
    • Participating in activity programs
    • Maintaining accurate records and files
    • Continuing education through in-service training
    • Performing other duties as assigned

    Compliance and Safety:

    • Adhering to emergency procedures and safety protocols
    • Effective communication with supervisors and colleagues

    Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification:

    • Current State Nurse's Aide registration
    • Experience and passion in working with seniors
    • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks
    • Positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
    • Good physical and emotional health

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift weight as needed
    • Standing for extended periods
    • Potential use of specialized equipment

    Miscellaneous:

    • Possible weekend and holiday shifts
    • Flexibility with work schedule
    • Potential for long work hours
    • Possible exposure to infectious diseases
    • Interactions with residents with varying emotional states
    • Background and drug tests may be required
    • Random drug testing during employment
    • Consent for image use in social media and advertising
    • Potential video recording in residents' living areas
