Job Summary
This Land Planning position presents an exciting opportunity to work with residential and commercial developers to create innovative and functional sites. Put your creativity and passion for working with the land to use while developing designs that work within the confines of local, state and federal regulations. If you are detail oriented, this position would allow you to hone the necessary skills to bring a project from a conceptual site plan to a fully built out project.
Job Responsibilities
Review local, state and federal codes and regulations from Zoning to Environmental applications.
Use Civil 3D to draft site plans and other planning documents.
Coordinate the availability of applicable utility providers to confirm service of a project.
Prepare and submit applications to Municipalities including but not limited too, Preliminary Plat, Rezone, Board of Zoning Appeals, Final Development Plan, etc.
Coordinate with other departments within the company to ensure that a project is moving forward and those working on the projects are fully aware of the requirements and expectations.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Civil Engineering.
Organizational, oral and written communication skills.
Extroverted with a confidence in Public Speaking.
Proficient in Civil 3D.
