    Overview: We are seeking a motivated Account Executive to join our team and drive growth through the sale of access control, video surveillance, and intrusion systems. In this role, you will take charge of the entire sales process, from lead generation and needs assessment to negotiation, closing deals, and fostering profitable company expansion.     Reporting Line: Reports to the Sales Manager

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage end-to-end estimating procedures, encompassing timelines, deadlines, and estimating packages.
    • Establish connections with vendors and clients to foster relationships, define project scope, address gaps, and negotiate pricing.
    • Research quotes for materials and labor from suppliers and subcontractors, persistently following up on bid projects and accurately projecting future awards.
    • Stay well-informed about current technology trends in access control, video surveillance, intrusion systems, and emerging security technologies.
    • Present a polished and professional image to vendors, manufacturers, distributors, and clients.
    • Cultivate strong client relationships and effective communication to foster repeat business and acquire referrals.
    • Collaborate with the sales manager and project manager to engineer accurate bills of materials and cost estimates for upcoming projects, spanning new construction and retrofit scenarios.
    • Develop and deliver compelling proposals that withstand scrutiny and provide significant value to clients.
    • Ensure seamless handoffs to project managers in accordance with company standards.
    • Adhere to company procedures for opportunity tracking, estimating, quoting, and converting opportunities into projects.
    • Coordinate with engineering and project management teams to ensure on-time, high-quality deliverables.
    • Collaborate with the project manager to anticipate product, equipment, and manpower requirements.
    • Assist in resolving job-related challenges.
    • Interpret blueprints and complete quantity take-offs.
    • Provide equipment information to suppliers and issue RFI's as needed.
    • Prepare estimates, bids, and proposals in a timely manner.
    • Review estimates, bids, and proposals with management for alignment.
    • Estimate projects through accurate take-offs of materials, labor, and equipment in designated systems.
    • Participate in pre-bid meetings as necessary and adjust bids based on addendums.
    • Perform other duties as directed by the Sales Manager.
    Requirements & Experience:
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant operations role within security software integration industry.
    • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school is required.
    • Must have worked with sales that are min $700,000

    • Possesses a valid driver's license and maintains a well-functioning vehicle.

    • Timely completion of jobs in accordance with planned milestones.
