- Graduate of an approved school of Nursing.
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience
- Current licensure to practice professional nursing in Louisiana or multi-state compact license;
- CPR certification;
- ACLS certification;
- Must maintain required hours of in-service per year to meet requirements for CEs as stipulated by the State Board of Nursing.
- Ability to communicate with patient, family, peers and medical personnel;
- Ability to compute medication dosages for age-specific populations.
- Requires emotional stability and resilience; Must be adaptable to change, be decisive, and demonstrate foresight.
