- Collaborate with internal clients on naming, branding, and marketing issues, including clearing marketing assets
- Help manage and direct outside counsel with respect to trademark prosecution and brand protection matters
- Advise on appropriate trademark use
- Assist with investigation of third party use of marks
- Assist with the management of trademark opposition, cancellation, and other conflict matters
- Support IP operations by identifying adopting best practices with respect to billing, matter prioritization, and workflow management
- 6+ of trademark paralegal experience. At least two years of in-house practice
- A B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent practical experience
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Significant experience conducting trademark clearance and availability searches domestically and globally
- A deep understanding of worldwide trademark enforcement and prosecution strategies
- Familiarity with social media platforms and take-down forms, including how to navigate accounts and posts, monitor trends, search for accounts, and best practices for removing spam, fraud, and IP infringement
- Expertise with Google Suite tools (Gmail, Calendar, Google Docs) and Slack
- Experience working with team members at all levels
- A passion for technology and its intersection with branding, marketing, and intellectual property law--
