Job summary
Applied Composites is seeking a Materials Handler who ensures proper and timely flow of all materials and products from arrival until stored or shipped. Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving and storing materials.
Responsibilities
- Receives stocks and disburses parts or materials loads trucks disburses parts supplies to other team members as required
- Maintains records of received goods rejects unsatisfactory items examines stocks distributes materials in inventory on manufacturing lines prepares maintains records of merchandise shipped demonstrates safety policies procedures posts weights shipping charges prepares goods for final shipment identifies disposes scrapped expired materials follows established work instructions investigation recommends corrections data deviations between inventory system WIP manages disposal hazardous waste solvents following safety procedures operates forklift certified supports facilities function needed other responsibilities assigned
