    You're an expert at "rolling up your sleeves" and getting to work immediately to get products sold in highly competitive marketplaces.


    The Task At Hand:


    The Regional Sales Manager reports directly to the Director of Sales, Northeast, supports other cross-functional leads, and is responsible for the oversight and execution of all sales activities for select Grocery Retailers to achieve market penetration as well as develop new business partners.

    This entails working at strategic and tactical levels to develop, implement, and manage programs that maximize short- and long-term objectives for the company's sales growth; managing and motivating a broker sales team; and working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

    Key areas of focus will encompass leadership across a variety of fronts:

    account management, planning, forecasting, data analysis, new product launch and in-store execution, marketing & trade programs, and the ability to help drive significant distribution gains.

    In This Role, You Will:

    • Have a proactive and organized approach to sales development, address day-to-day operating issues as well as provide strategic input
    Drive Gross Sales
    o Work closely with brokers, distributors, and external business partners to develop mutually beneficial strategies by account
    o Develop and own strategy for trade promotions and customer spending by account
    o Build an accurate forecast and ensure its implementation across our distributor partners


    Grow market share and have expert knowledge of category and competition
    o Proactively communicate and develop plans for sales/share/category/competition
    o Identify business opportunities and help close white space opportunities


    Increase TDP growth and achieve optimal placement
    o Define and secure new business and TDP growth
    o Manage broker team to achieve optimal execution and merchandising results


    Business Relationships and Communication
    o Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers
    o Develop, foster, and maintain strong internal and customer/distributor relationships while ensuring proper communication of vital information
    o Regularly update and communicate progress to management


    Data Analytics and Reporting
    o Pull, analyze, and report data and insights to the organization regarding Once Upon a Farm's sales performance for your accounts

    In This Role, You'll Bring With You:

    Minimum 3-5 years of Headquarter Sales or Account Management within the CPG industry, specifically Northeast Grocery accounts including but not limited to Wakefern, Big Y, Foodtown, Key Foods, Roche Bros, Shaw's, Tops, Price Chopper


    Proven success with respected consumer packaged goods companies with broker business model and direct sales management


    Prior professional category experience selling in snack, dairy, frozen, or baby preferred


    Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred


    Required residency in NJ, NY, CT, RI, MA


    Able to travel extensively within the Northeastern US region


    Prior experience developing and selling creative stories with IRI and other insights data required


    Strong time management skills, able to handle multiple accounts, set priorities, and plan


    Solid knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Slack, and other professional platforms


    Up to 35% travel required: Although this role is a remote work-from-home position, we "Farmers" do meet as a company and/or as a department a few times a year. Anticipate possible travel up to a few times each quarter

    Previous exposure to cross-functional work between Sustainability and Sales preferred


    Must reside in the United States to be considered for this position

    Compensation:

    Full-Time, Salaried, Non-Exempt


    The anticipated salary range for this position is $110,000.00 to $130, The actual salary offer will carefully consider a few factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses, stipends, equity, and role-specific perks.
