    Joining our Russell Investments Human Resources Department, means you will be a part of a passionate and supportive team that believes what we do matters to our clients and investors. As an HR Business Partner you will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the HR Business Partner team. Working in partnership with the business, our HR group develops strategies to assist the business in achieving their goals. You will provide HR services to all of Russell's business units, with specific focus on Global Information Technology and Global Operations. You will support your internal clients with all aspects of the associate lifecycle including and not limited to recruitment, employee relations, performance management, talent development, and compensation and benefits..

    This Seattle-based role will allow you to build strong partnerships with our Leaders, Managers, and Associates globally. We are seeking a proactive team player who wants to grow and learn while working in a fast-paced environment, managing various tasks simultaneously and working with changing priorities.

    Base Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000

    Specific compensation will be based on candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, commercial considerations, and other job-related factors permitted by law. At Russell Investments, salary is just one part of our compensation package.     Your Core Responsibilities:
    • Develop highly effective manager client relationships that contribute to trustworthy advisement and tactical HR support. Includes actively coaching and supporting leaders on a range of people related issues.
    • Partner with business leaders to identify people related issues, trends, and challenges before they arise.
    • Develop and implement HR strategies including recruitment, employee relations, team development and performance management.
    • Monitor adherence to all HR policies, practices, and procedures. Interpret and communicates policies. Ensure accurate and timely HR data for assigned business units.
    • Proactively highlight any potential issues associated with HR Operations / processes or projects stemming from any regulatory, employment regulations or Global HR Projects.
    • As a steward of the company's values, advise and contribute to creating an inclusive, productive and high integrity work environment.
    • Ensure all associates receive accurate answers to queries within a reasonable time frame. This may require escalating to appropriate functional area or HR leadership.
    • Conduct Exit interviews for departing associates.
    • Partner with recruiting and business to scope roles for appropriate hiring.
    • Partner with compensation regarding job leveling - help manage expectations with business from a budget standpoint.
    • Provide guidance and support to leaders, and play a key role in implementing the following processes:
      • The interview process for junior/mid-level roles.
      • New hire and onboarding process.
      • Performance management and compensation review during year-end process.
      • Annual talent review and succession planning.
      • HR program implementation across business units.
      • Ad-hoc projects to support the HRBP team (associate survey, compensation analysis, writing job descriptions) and lead projects as appropriate.
    • Utilize Workday (Russell Investment's HR Information System) to ensure data integrity, data input and changes, reporting and education with manager awareness.
    • Provide ad-hoc support to HRBP team as directed by Senior HRBPs.
    • Other HR projects and initiatives as required.
    Your Expertise:
    • 2-4 years Human Resources work experience.
    • 2 years of HR Business Partner experience preferred.
    • Experience and knowledge of human resources regulations, state and federal employment law, employee relations and relevant administration practices.
    • Consultative and tactful approach in working with all levels of management and employees.
    • Knowledge of change management processes.
    • Experience with organizational design processes.
    • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information as well as possessing skills to handle situations in a professional and diplomatic manner.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage and follow through on multiple priorities and assignments.
    • Ability to be flexible and also to distinguish when appropriate to maintain boundaries.
    • Bachelor's Degree in HR Management or related field or equivalent work experience.
    • Professional experience with Workday HRIS (preferred).
    • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
