    Our client is embarking on an exciting journey to elevate customer experiences through technology and looking to hire a Solution Architect to lead the strategic design and buildout of a transformative Order Visibility application.

    This application empowers our clients commercial customers with real-time visibility into the status of their orders across various channels.

    As the Solution Architect for the OCOV application, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architectural vision and technical strategy for the development and deployment of this groundbreaking product.

    Leveraging the technology stack consisting of React on NextJS, Spring Boot Java microservices (Java v17), and NxTools Workspace, you will guide the technical design decisions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and overseeing the successful implementation of the application within the specified technology environment.


    Responsibilities:

    Architectural Design and Strategy:Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define the overall system architecture for the OCOV application, adhering to the micro-frontend design pattern.

    Design and document architectural patterns, components, and interfaces that align with the microservices architecture.


    Technology Evaluation and Selection:


    Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools such as React on NextJS and Spring Boot Java microservices to meet project goals.

    Make informed decisions on technology adoption, integration, and best practices.


    Micro Frontend Implementation:
    Lead the development of micro frontends, each with its own backend experience API, following the XPDS microservices architecture.
    Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration between frontends and backends.

    Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD):
    Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated build, test, and deployment.
    Utilize Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.


    Cloud and Infrastructure:
    Oversee the deployment of the application on Kubernetes/Rancher managed by the shared I&O team, utilizing HashiCorp Vault for secret management, all hosted in Azure

    Real-Time Order Visibility:
    Design and implement the Domain API as a REST API to enable near real-time order visibility across store systems.
    Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of the application.


    Security and Compliance:
    Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5+ years of experience as an enterprise/solutions architectProven experience as a Solution Architect with expertise in React on NextJS and Spring Boot Java microservices (Java v17) or similar technologiesFamiliarity with NxTools Workspace and monorepo architecture.

    Strong understanding of micro-frontend design patterns and XPDS microservices architecture.
    Proficiency in CI/CD practices using GitHub Actions and Terraform.
    Experience with Kubernetes, Rancher, HashiCorp Vault, and Azure cloud services.
    Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teams.
    Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
