Description:Welders will be fabricating and pipe fitting. The fabrication part will involve creating large frames using angle iron and 2" square tubing. The pipe fitting will be welding pipe anywhere from 3" in diameter to 24" in diameter. Welders will be responsible for cutting steel, washing steel, grinding, using oxy acetylene torch and more shop tools. They will need to weld with confidence and consistency for their level of experience. Welders will NOT only be welding. The projects are done in phases and when the welding phase is complete they will be expected to help out in other deptartments; Electrical, plumbing, testing etc. A majority of the time will be spent welding though. Flux core dual shield wire.
