Pickleball Program Coordinator (Teaching Professional)
Location: OPUS Pickleball Club – Wyndmoor, PA
Employment Type: Part-Time
Reports To: Club Manager

OPUS is located next to Mermaid Park within 10 minutes of Chestnut Hill, Mt. Airy, Germantown, Lafayette Hill, Erdenheim, Glenside and Cheltenham and 15 minutes from the PA Turnpike Fort Washington Interchange via Rt. 309.
Position Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and highly skilled Pickleball Program Coordinator to grow our instructional programming. This individual will be responsible for developing and coordinating programming (e.g., open play, classes, clinics, private lessons, leagues, special events) while building strong relationships with members and coaching staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, schedule, and manage programming:
- Clinics and skills workshops of varying player levels (beginner, intermediate, a advanced)
- Private and semi-private lessons
- Youth and junior programming
- Social and competitive play options (e.g., round robins, leagues, tournaments)
- Create seasonal programming calendars and coordinate court usage
- Promote programs to increase participation and revenue
- Evaluate player skill levels and provide structured development pathways
- Maintain a welcoming, inclusive club culture
- Track lesson participation and provide regular reports to management
Qualifications
- Strong pickleball playing experience (4.0+ rating preferred)
- Previous teaching or coaching experience. Certification from a recognized organization (e.g., USA Pickleball, Professional Pickleball Registry, International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association) preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience scheduling programming and managing court time
- Energetic, professional, and community-minded
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
