    Description
    job summary:
    A privately owned electronics manfuacturer in Melville, NY is looking for a direct-hire Process Engineer to lead lean/continuous improvement initiatives. The company supplies to Aviation, Defense, and Space Exploration. This company continues to grow and is a tight nit production environment

    Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Engineering experience

  • BS degree

  • Experienced in leading process improvement
    location: Farmingdale, New York
    job type: Permanent
    salary: $70, ,000 per year
    work hours: 8am to 4pm
    education: Bachelors

    responsibilities:
  • Design and develop tooling and fixtures for production

  • Lead projects

  • Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping for process improvement

  • PCB processing

  • Product Assembly The essential functions of this role include:

  • working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
