Job title: Project Engineer

Description

In partnership with Talent Consultant Group, a civil engineering firm seeks a highly skilled Project Engineer to join its growing team in St. Petersburg, FL.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting stormwater management studies and developing construction plans related to drainage, transportation, and utility improvements. This includes stormwater management, drainage design, hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality modeling, as well as environmental permitting with local municipalities.

To succeed in this position, applicants must have:

Essential Skills and Experience

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
EIT registration within the civil engineering field
Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS ESRI platforms
Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software
Intermediate-level technical writing and communication skills
Valid FL driver's license with a clean driving record

Distinguishing Factors

Master's degree in civil engineering
Preparation of environmental permit application packages
Watershed modeling expertise
ArcGIS proficiency
Floodplain studies and FEMA experience
