$145,000 - $175,000 Annually
JOB SUMMARY:
The Sales & Marketing Leader is a strategic, results-driven professional responsible for leading the Residential Group's sales and marketing functions. This role combines expertise in driving revenue growth, enhancing brand visibility, and delivering exceptional client experiences while playing a critical role in shaping future communities and new market expansion. As a member of the Residential Group Leadership Team, this position reports directly to the President and partners closely with peer leaders across Land Development, Construction & Operations, Finance, and People & Culture to ensure cohesive strategy and execution across the business. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of residential construction, and a proven ability to translate business objectives into effective sales and marketing strategies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Experience & Brand Promise
- Champion a client-centric, end-to-end Blue Ribbon service experience from inquiry through post-sale support.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality interactions that reinforce trust, satisfaction, and brand value across all segments.
- Partner with development, design, construction and operations to deliver a seamless and differentiated experience.
- Professional Presence: Acts as a brand ambassador, maintaining a polished appearance and demeanor in all client and community interactions.
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans across all residential product types, aligned with growth objectives.
- Establish, monitor, and adjust sales targets, forecasts, and pipeline health to ensure predictable revenue performance.
- Analyze market trends, buyer behavior, and competitive dynamics to refine strategies and pricing.
Marketing Strategy & Community Positioning
- Lead marketing strategies that leverage uniques, maximize product offerings, and differentiate individual communities while reinforcing overall brand.
- Ensure each community is positioned with a compelling value proposition aligned with brand standards.
- Plan and execute marketing initiatives for new developments, existing product lines, and community-level campaigns.
Brand Leadership & Market Expansion
- Own and elevate the group's brand to support increased specialization, deeper market penetration, and regional growth.
- Ensure brand consistency, quality, and differentiation across all channels, materials, and client touchpoints.
- Leverage brand strength to enhance visibility, demand, and long-term market positioning.
Development Collaboration & Future Communities
- Serve as a strategic partner to Development, collaborating early on new projects and future communities.
- Provide market insights, buyer research, sales strategy, and branding input through planning, design, and launch.
- Ensure sales, marketing, and brand considerations are fully integrated into development decisions.
Showcase Inventory & Product Strategy
- Maintain a predictive 12-18 month pipeline of showcase homes aligned with market demand and brand positioning.
- Collaborate with design, development, and operations teams to align inventory strategy with market dynamics and design trends to deliver homes that reflect evolving buyer preferences.
- Monitor absorption, turnover, and inventory risk to support consistent sales performance.
Digital Marketing & CRM Management
- Lead digital marketing efforts including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media campaigns with website content and performance management to maximize lead generation and conversion.
- Own CRM strategy and performance (e.g., BuilderTrend, Salesforce, Hubspot) across lead management, segmentation, and reporting.
- Leverage CRM analytics to improve forecasting accuracy, client engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
Product Stewardship & Industry Engagement
- Own the accuracy and consistency of all sales and client-facing documentation, including contracts, homeowners manuals, and related materials.
- Ensure strong product knowledge and content readiness across teams while maintaining up-to-date product offerings and customization options.
- Represent the brand through events, open houses, Parade of Homes, and key industry and community partnerships.
- Oversee the home specifications process, aligned with client expectations and construction capabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Real Estate, or related field.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in sales and marketing, with 10+ years in leadership roles overseeing revenue growth, brand strategy, and go-to-market execution, preferably in residential construction.
- Proven experience leading integrated sales and marketing functions, including sales strategy, pricing, forecasting, pipeline management, and performance accountability.
- Hands-on expertise in digital marketing and demand generation, including website performance, SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and lead conversion optimization.
- Advanced proficiency with CRM platforms and marketing automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, BuilderTrend), including reporting, analytics, segmentation, and forecasting.
- Strong executive communication skills for effectively influencing stakeholders and aligning cross-functional teams.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The position primarily involves working in an office environment, spending a substantial amount of time using a computer for documentation, coordination, and communication tasks. The role also requires reliable transportation (4x4), including the ability to travel to and access residential communities, model and showcase homes, developments under construction, and vacant land.
This position will require occasional construction site walk-throughs, which may include navigating uneven terrain, unpaved surfaces, and unfinished homes. Must be able to walk, stand, and move through active construction environments safely. The role requires the ability to sit for extended periods, use of standard office equipment, and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds. When visiting construction and development sites, the employee will be required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
