    Job Title

    A Business Development Representative at St. Mary's Bank plays a vital role in fostering relationships with new and existing business members, driving growth through cash management and deposit opportunities.

    To succeed in this position, you will build strong connections with the Business Development Team Lead, Branch Managers, and retail staff to promote brand awareness and expand business relationships.

    You will work closely with community and business partners to identify opportunities for cash management and deposit services, including supporting the CU at Work Program and Bank @ Work initiatives.

    In addition, you will collaborate with internal and external Centers of Influence, such as CPAs, lawyers, and commercial real estate brokers, to develop new business leads and achieve business plan goals.

    Representing St. Mary's Bank at community events and volunteer opportunities is also an essential aspect of this role.

    Your expertise in cash management services and deposit operations, combined with your excellent communication and organizational skills, will enable you to provide mentoring, coaching, and sales training support to Branch Sales Staff.

    Responsibilities:

    • Builds Relationships: Foster new and existing business member relationships to drive growth through cash management and deposit opportunities.

    • Community Involvement: Represent St. Mary's Bank at community events and volunteer opportunities.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
    • 5+ years of work experience in retail and/or business banking.
    • Successful experience in business development required.
    • Working knowledge of cash management services and deposit operations.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Effective organizational and analytical skills, coupled with computer literacy.

    Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
