    Acute Care RN - Stepdown (full time opportunities)

    The Intermediate Care Unit consists of 25 beds.

    It is a mixed unit with neurology, neurosurgical, cardiology, cardiovascular, medical, and surgical patients that require intermediate level of care.

    Services provided include managing patients with DKA, Sepsis, Trach/Vent, post stroke and NIR, post open heart surgery, post PCI, TVP, and patients on low dose vasoactive medications.

    We pride ourselves for having a family friendly, and supportive environment. We have an amazing team of compassionate caregivers who deliver excellent care to our patients and families. We have great mentors and preceptors in the unit. Nurse Leaders and the Department Educator will be available to support your professional journey.

    Required qualifications:

    • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
    • California Registered Nurse License upon hire
    • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
    • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
    • 1 year' Nursing experience
