    Position Summary:


    The Health Sciences program at Franklin Pierce University, the College of Health & Natural Science in Rindge, NH, seeks applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Health Sciences - Exercise Physiology.

    This is a full-time 9-month appointment commencing in the academic year.

    This position is responsible for teaching courses including Exercise Physiology, Strength and Conditioning, and Clinical Exercise Physiology.

    Additionally, this faculty position will contribute to the development of the curriculum of the Health Sciences Program, as well as serve as the primary advising faculty for the certificate in Exercise Physiology, which aligns with the American College of Sports Medicine's certification.

    The faculty may also participate in teaching other courses, including First-Year Experience, and Biology and Health Sciences Seminar.

    In addition, this faculty will also be expected to utilize the resources of the Exercise Physiology/Cardiovascular and Respiratory research lab for student and faculty research projects.


    Qualifications:
    We are seeking candidates that demonstrate strong leadership and experience


    The successful candidate will:
    * have an earned doctoral degree in an appropriate field or closely related discipline,
    * demonstrate teaching effectiveness at the college level,
    * exhibit a strong commitment to undergraduate education, research, learning and advising, and
    * is expected to engage in institutional service as well as maintain a program of scholarly/creative work.
