    SUMMARY:


    A large company in the Seattle area, with a robust international presence, seeks a Senior Accountant to assist with reporting, month-end close, and fixed assets management.

    Responsibilities of

    Senior Accountant:
    Manage end-to-end oversight of financial processes, including recording journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting (SEC 10k and 10Q).

    Demonstrate proficiency in Fixed Asset Accounting and Statement of Cash Flow Reporting.

    Develop Excel schedules and financial workpapers effectively.

    Perform and review balance sheet account reconciliations, resolving any discrepancies.

    Provide analytical review and fluctuation analysis to support periodic activity.

    Identify internal control gaps and implement controls within the finance, business, or accounting organizations to ensure accurate financial reporting.

    Review new business contracts and assess their operational and accounting impact.

    Conduct research and document support for accounting conclusions.

    Provide direct support to external auditors during walkthroughs, test of controls, and substantive testing.

    Work independently with close attention to detail.

    Maintain Oracle Fixed Assets Subledger.

    Requirements of

    Senior Accountant:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

    Several years of experience in accounting, with a focus on reporting, month-end close, and fixed assets management.

    Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial software.

    Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    Experience with SEC reporting (10k and 10Q) preferred.

    Familiarity with Oracle Fixed Assets Subledger is a plus.
