Sodexo presents an exciting opportunity for a Full-time, year-round Registered Dietitian 2 (Schools) to support Montgomery County Public Schools in Virginia, based in Christiansburg, VA- near Blacksburg. In this role, you will be the nutritional expert for the district, collaborating closely with operators and students to offer nutritional advice and menu support.

• Contribute to menu development, nutrient analysis, and managing nutritional information;
• Lead the on-site food service staff;
• Ensure compliance with operating standards and regulations;
• Select the appropriate range of products and services to deliver optimal value;
• Work with staff, faculty, parent groups, and community leaders to achieve wellness objectives and introduce creative, interactive learning programs integrating food and nutrition into the standard curriculum;
• Demonstrate proficiency in using social media tools;
• Oversee nutrition databases such as PrimeroEdge and Nutrislice;
• Manage all special dietary requirements for the district;
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations concerning school nutrition.

Basic Educational Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
