- Ensure reliable monitoring and alerting for systems infrastructure;
- Identity management on platforms using Azure Active Directory and Active Directory Domain Service;
- Develop and deploy Group Policy objects that optimize the org's global security posture as well as enhance end user workflows;
- Installs, configures, manages, patches, and secures hardware/software according to established standards and compliance requirements.
- Actively develops and maintains Standard Operating Procedures, processes, and troubleshooting documents.
- Establishes efficiency and efficacy standards, providing recommendations for improvement of IT infrastructure
- Analyzes IT infrastructure and system performance to assess operating costs, productivity level, upgrade requirements and other metrics and needs.
- Oversees the facility of systems, networks, and enterprise information.
- Facilitates IT security audits or investigations
- Monitor and manage the IT budget to ensure effective delivery of IT services
- Independently identify, research, and resolve technical problems.
- Manage file, print, and application servers.
- Maintain inventory and licensing records for hardware and software acquisitions.
- Develops and maintains relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
- Develop technical designs and estimates to meet the business needs while supporting the company's overall IT direction and standards.
- Create and maintain up-to-date network architecture diagrams.
- Bachelor's degree in CS, or other IT-related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience (IT and System Administration)
- Available to work off-hours to perform maintenance or in case of emergencies;
- Solid understanding of network protocols
- Experience supporting an array of applications on Windows operating systems including, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, email, VPN clients, firewalls, disk encryption, and antivirus software.
- Microsoft Active Directory administration experience
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing hardware and network problems in virtual and physical environments.
- Must be customer service-focused and have excellent time management skills.
- Must be detail-oriented, proactive, well organized, and have ability to prioritize work.
- Windows Server OS and Linux server OS (Various Version)
- Windows Services: AD, DNS, LDAP, etc.
- Administration of Office 365
- Antivirus/Antimalware experience
- System Backup and Recovery experience
- 4-5 years of Azure Cloud management experience
- Experience with System Security Design and Principles
- Experience with Scripting including Powershell or Bash
- Previous Experience working with External Vendors/Suppliers and Contractors to complete necessary work
- Demonstrated Cross-Functional ability to work with fellow IT Associates to identify root problems and design solutions to resolve
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
- Experience with Dockers and Kubernetes
- Pure Storage experience a plus
