Responsibilities

Diagnostic Imaging Excellence:

Execute complex therapeutic and diagnostic procedures by operating advanced cameras to map radioactive drugs and provide high-quality imagery for physician interpretation.


Radiopharmaceutical Management:
Expertly handle the full lifecycle of radioactive materials,including ordering, preparation, administration, and disposal—in strict adherence to safety protocols.

Patient-Centered Care:
Ensure clinical accuracy and patient comfort by precisely positioning individuals and selecting optimal technical factors for every scan.

Quality Assurance & Data Integrity:

Manage the end-to-end documentation process, ensuring all data and images sent to PACS are accurate, properly marked, and meet rigorous quality standards.


Equipment & Safety Stewardship:
Maintain a safe clinical environment by monitoring equipment performance, following radiation safety guidelines, and proactively reporting malfunctions.

Requirements


Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.


One or more of the following required:

Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Nuclear Cardiology Technologist (NMTCB-NCT) also accepted.

Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education


High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
