    TheEnergy Institute Department is a dynamic hub of research and innovationdedicated to advancing sustainable energy practices and carbonmanagement in Louisiana. We are seeking a motivated Outreach Coordinatorto join our team and play a pivotal role in communicating valuableenergy and carbon management information to various stakeholders.

    Responsibilities:
    -Facilitate the effective transfer of energy and carbon management information to stakeholders within and outside of Louisiana.
    -Organize information in concise and easily utilized formats and media for diverse audiences.
    -Seekout new sources of information that can be utilized by the stakeholdercommunity to enhance the reduction of carbon emissions within thestate.
    -Identify opportunities for growing energy and carbon management related jobs.
    -Manage websites, ensuring up-to-date and relevant content related to energy and carbon management.
    -Write summary documents, reports, and articles to effectively communicate key information to stakeholders.
    -Attend conferences and industry events to stay informed on the latest developments in energy and power issues.
    -Meet with stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns related to energy and carbon management.
    -Organize and implement plans for conferences, technical meetings, and research symposia.
    -Coordinate logistics, invitations, and communication to ensure successful events.
    -Demonstrate proficiency in second languages to facilitate communication with diverse stakeholders.

    Qualifications:

    Required Qualifications:
    -Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (International Business, Business, Marketing)

    Preferred Qualifications:
    -Experience with sharing economic, business and technical information to facilitate collaboration, economic development, and technology exchange.

    -Familiar with interfacing with international parties.
    -Experiencewithin an economic development entity that focuses on tech transfer andbuilding relationships both within the US and abroad. (If this needs tobe moved to Required, please state how many months/years of experiencewe are looking for)
    -Must be a people-person and capable of leading initiatives.
    -Experience with outreach outlets and organizing outreach events.
    - Bi-lingual is a significant plus.
    -Strong presentations and writing skills are a strong need.
