    Position Information

  • This is an on-site position in Hodges, SC.
  • Domestic relocation is available for this position.
  • Role Definition

    Provides technical expertise necessary to design all aspects of production, costs, quality, compliance to safety guidelines, and environmental requirements for manufacturing.

    Responsibilities

  • Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs.
  • Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching testing methods, and conferring with equipment vendors.
  • Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
  • Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods.
  • Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs.
  • Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Provides manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests.
  • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
  • Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services.
  • Maintains product and process database by writing computer programs and entering data.
  • Completes design and development projects by training and guiding operations.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Judgment and Decision Making: Working knowledge of the decision-making process; ability to carefully evaluate the impact of emerging business situations and choose the best path forward communicating actions and activities that maximize organizational performance.
  • Manufacturing Equipment: Working knowledge of the electrical, mechanical and logistics equipment used in manufacturing; ability to safely operate, maintain, update, and store them.
  • Manufacturing Processes: Extensive experience using product manufacturing methods, technologies, and processes; ability to execute, plan, manage and monitor the entire manufacturing process.
  • Problem Management Process - MFG: Extensive experience using manufacturing problem management processes, methodologies, and techniques; ability to use a disciplined approach to bringing that problem to a successful resolution.
