    The Assistnat Project Manager, Venues, manages a portion or an entire event at a local property and includes local travel. This position will monitor progress and performance against the project plan; identifying, resolving, escalating operational problems, and minimizing delays. This will include but is not limited to equipment, labor, organizing quotes and proposals, equipment sub-rentals, shipping, transportation, venue requirements, and all final invoicing arrangements. This is a collaborative role working with the Venue Regional Manager and partnering closely with the sales team, other PM's and Techs, and the Solution Center.

    Training and Systems: you will be trained and expected to learn the following systems below.

    • Vectorworks- create CAD drawings that are needed for proposal completion.
    • IntelEvent- assist with order writing for equipment and labor.
    Event Project Management
    • Work closely with the properties Sales Manager and or DETs to ensure all show-related activities are maintained at a high level.
    • Create written job proposals, quotes, and CAD drawings.
    • Attend site visits or pre-convention meetings as needed or requested by the customer or leadership.
    • Utilize the company "Show Book" management system when initializing and finalizing all shows or events.
    • Have a strong knowledge of the company's equipment inventory including video, audio, general, and lighting.
    • Analyze and manage project risk to ensure customer satisfaction and that Technical and Production Standards are followed.
    • Submit equipment and labor requests to the Solutions Center.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels of their organization and provide outstanding customer service while focusing on client retention.
    Event Execution
    • Supervise the technical aspects of the job and provide intermediate to advanced operational troubleshooting and problem-solving during the technical setup, operation, and dismantling of basic to advanced large-scale audio-visual systems.
    • Assist with scheduling equipment deliveries and pickups for the assigned event.
    • Troubleshoot and problem-solve audio-visual and IT equipment.
    • Follow up with clients on-site to ensure that their needs are met and the equipment setup is working properly.
    • Monitors events and checks in on event sessions throughout the day.
    Other Duties
    • Fullfil property tech position(s) as needed and pending the Jr PM's SSC.
    • Other duties assigned by leadership.
