- Develops conditioning and instructional training goals for the season

- Trains and maintains standards that berating and taunting opponents and officials is not acceptable
- Ensures all student-athletes are properly registered before they participate in season
- Ensures all coaches are properly registered and have completed required training
- Must familiarize yourself with the Evaluation Form and End of Season Report before starting
- Maintains inventory equipment, supplies, keys and uniforms issued during the season
- Coordinates any desired competition with DOSA
- Schedules all practice time and facility requests through DOSA
- Coordinates daily transportation needs through DOSA
- Complies with Academic Eligibility, Disciplinary Referral, Attendance and Medical Restrictions
- Assists all student-athletes with college recruitment efforts
- Works with all School coaches and Athletic Director to promote unity and progression between the high school and middle school programs
- Cleans out all locker rooms
- Attends team banquet(s) and presents annual awards and recognitions
- Schedules an end of season review with DOSA
- Addresses all student-athlete and parental concerns, keeping DOSA appraised as appropriate
- Completes and submit End of Season Report to DOSA
- A coach must be present when student-athletes are in the locker room
- A coach must be present when student-athletes are at a scheduled practice
- A coach must be present on all bus trips to competitions
- A coach must be present until all student-athletes have left the school building
- State Police Clearance (Act 34) - complete online and print your results immediately
- Child Abuse Clearance (Act effective 12/31/14, submit electronically
- FBI Fingerprints (Act register & pay online, then go to the fingerprint location of your choice to be printed
- School Health Record - includes physical & tb test from within a year
- Act 24 (PDE Form Arrest/Conviction Report
- PA Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release -A separate form must be completed for: Current employer; and All former employers that were school entities; and All former employers where you were in a position that involved direct contact with children.

WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR US: can include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Instruction
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: An annual agreement for the season. Coach must be present during the season. Coaches are not entitled to vacation pay. The season will begin on the first date as defined by PIAA and will continue until the final competition of the season and administrative duties are completed as soon as possible thereafter. Coach will be expected to attend PIAA Rules Interpretations Meeting, League workshops/meetings and all Activities Department Meetings. Post Season pay will be calculated on a per diem amount based on the number of days school is open during the season.
CERTIFICATION: Must complete required PIAA Coaching classes and renew annual Concussion and First Aid training.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be capable to organize equipment/uniforms and mobile to navigate practice fields, buses and all school facilities.
