- Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary medical team to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Participate in professional development activities and stay current with the latest nursing practices and advancements in the medical field.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a Med Surg setting.
- Exceptional clinical skills with an in-depth knowledge of nursing principles, methods, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations and make decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in electronic health records systems and medical software.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, if necessary.
- BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain these certifications upon hire.
