The Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for examination, evaluation, diagnosis,determination of the physical therapy prognosis and intervention according to the New York State Physical Therapy Practice Act.
The therapist assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning while teaching them
to live within the limits of their capabilities.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science program in Physical Therapy with curriculum approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- New York State Physical Therapist licensure and registration.
- One-year experience as a staff physical therapist under qualified supervision.
