    Arbol Residences Santa Rosa Senior Living is recruiting for a hospitality focused Registered Nurse to join our team This position provides direct nursing care to residents and delegates and supervises the care provided by our Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants.


    Essential Job Duties:

    • Administers medications and treatments, including, but not limited to: dressings, catherization, wound care, IV's, suctioning, oxygen, etc.
    • Responsible for the Unit and supervising certified nursing assistants.
    • Assists in direct resident care as necessary.
    • Protects residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
    • Resolves resident problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
    • Maintains accurate documentation of medication administered and care rendered.
    • Maintains continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
    • Interfaces with other disciplines to assure continuity of care and services.
    • The Charge Nurse RN is the supervisor in charge in the absence of the Director of Nursing.

    Other Duties:

    • Assists in admission and discharge procedures.
    * certification Responds to resident emergency call system as indicated.

    • Makes rounds with physicians and transcribes orders.
    • Keeps physician and family aware of change in resident's condition.
    • Maintains the self‐respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each patient.
    • Assures continuity of services and care.
    • Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educations workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
    • Performs specific work duties and emergency needs in assisted living facility.
    • Performs specific work duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • RN currently licensed by the State.
    • Prior experience or education working with Geriatric population.
    • Current CPR
