    Job Description:

    Job Summary: The Senior IT Budget Analyst is responsible for preparing the annual budgets, monthly financial reports, developing forecasting procedures and creating and managing cyclical and special reports timely with accuracy. This role functions at a more complex level while also supporting the Director with scheduled and non-routine reporting functions.

    Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities:

    1. Acts in a consultative manner to insure effective provision and analysis of departmental issues.
    2. Collaborates with management and department leaders to prepare and assemble the Network's operating budgets.
    3. Prepares "divisional" budgets which include but are not limited to Depreciation, Fringe Benefits, Insurance, Third Party Allowances, Bad Debt, Charity Care, Interest Expense, and Investment Income.
    4. Reviews and analyzes monthly comparative departmental budget reports by comparing actuals to budget, using standards of measurement developed to evaluate performance. Coordinates with managers to explain variances.
    5. Prepares written and oral presentations of financial results in both written and graphical formats.
    6. Develops and reviews monthly flex budget results.
    7. Maintains and analyzes rolling forecast for system.
    8. Assists departmental leadership to identify opportunities for improvement in order to reach financial goals of the organization.
    9. Produces monthly statistical report and KPIs.
    10. Creates, develops, prepares, and analyzes financial, operational, and quality reports.
    11. Prepares Monthly Reclass Journal Entries.
    12. Prepares Monthly Hardware and Software Accrual Journal Entries.
    13. Prepares Monthly Telephone Accrual Journal Entries.

    Qualifications:

    Required Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field from an accredited college or university.
    • 2 plus years of work experience performing a broad range of planning and analysis activities related to financial reports, budgeting, and strategic planning.
      • OR
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field from an accredited college or university.
    • 4 plus years of work experience performing a broad range of planning and analysis activities related to financial reports, budgeting, and strategic planning.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in business administration (MBA) from an accredited college or university.
    • Certified Professional Accountant (CPA).
