We have an outstanding Contract position for a Machinist to join a leading Company located in the Baltimore, MD surrounding area

Job Responsibilities:
Worked in a prototype, development, and production support machine shop, responsible for making one-off, precision details.

Primarily, be responsible for operating 3-axis CNC vertical milling machines, which includes reviewing N/C code, setting up tooling, and performing all machining operations.

Must also be able to operate a manual vertical mill, brake press, bandsaw, and basic shop tools.


Basic Hiring Criteria:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Equivalent of (4) years high school plus (4) years trades training. Minimum of years of relevant experience is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings, understand GD&T, and follow manufacturing process plans. Machine variety of materials - plastics/ composites/ aluminum/ carbon steel/ stainless steel/ titanium/ Inconel. Review N/C programming code and provide feedback to programmer if modifications are required. Independently setup tooling and prepare workpiece per provided requirements.
