Join Our Team as a School-Based Physical Therapist
Are you a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist looking to make a difference in the lives of students? Teachwell Solutions is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team in the Sioux Falls area starting in June or August. As a School-Based Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work directly with students in a school setting, helping them improve their physical abilities and overall well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity to positively impact the lives of children and adolescents while working within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students' physical abilities and develop treatment plans
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' progress
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of South Dakota
- Experience working with children with disabilities preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for helping students reach their full potential
