ATARID Specialist Recruiters, Property and Asset Management Industry have been retained on behalf of our client, a national manager of affordable housing in need of:

Vice President – Operations

Responsible for overseeing a multi-state operation of multifamily affordable housing for a third-party fee management corporation. Demonstrated success developing and improving infrastructure and maximizing efficiencies. Join a highly collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversite of multi-state affordable housing property operations.
• Work closely with the asset managers, owners, investors, and syndicators to meet objectives.
• Maximize efficiencies, update standard operating procedures, and work closely with the executive team.
• Create and implement capital plans, budgets, review financials.
• Identify and implement technological improvements for efficiency and smoother operations.
• Maximize income while providing quality housing for residents.
• Develop long term relationships with investors, ownership, and regulators.
• Travel to properties, meet with current and potential clients.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years successfully managing multi-state property management operations of affordable housing is required; experience in conventional multifamily is required.
• Working knowledge of LIHTC, HUD-Section 8, local City and State programs.
• Industry certifications CPO, CPM, SHCM, TCM preferred.
• Experience in finance, budgets, capital expenses, rehab and overall operations.
• Persuasive leadership style, excellent communication skills, ability to work closely with clients and a small executive team.
• Proficient in MS 365 and Property Management software.
• Travel – some travel required.

Location: San Antonio, TX - Based in the office. Not open to hybrid/remote.

Compensation: $180,000 - $200,000+ negotiable, commensurate with experience, plus bonus; comprehensive benefits package.
