    Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Security Specialist in the Security Department of TRIDENT TRAINING FAC, BANGOR.

    Responsibilities You will manage the Department's organizational and functional interrelationships, performance goals, and the successful accomplishment of its mission objectives.

    You will provide oversight as watch standers ensure proper secure facility access control.

    You will establish staffing procedures to include structure, workload estimation techniques, workforce identification (military, civilian, contract), administrative procedures and processes of planning for future objectives.

    You will develop local policy and implementing instructions, providing authoritative interpretations and guidance to management officials and other security specialists.

    Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

    Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Resolve difficult security problems through knowledge of security concepts, principles, and practices; 2) Plan, organize, schedule, and manage security, force protection and Emergency Management; 3) Review, analyze, and resolve difficult and complex security problems, including physical security, personnel security, information security, industrial security, anti-terrorism/force protection and Emergency Management; and 4) Develop written security, anti-terrorism/force protection, emergency management and watch standing orders, standard operating procedures, directives, and audit responses covering all phases of force protection and security enforcement operations.

    Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Position is a Special-Sensitive position. Position requires incumbent to receive and maintain favorable adjudication of a Tier 5 (or equivalent) investigation with eligibility to access Sensitive Compartmental Information. Incumbent is subject to random drug testing.

    Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
    Have successfully completed a Ph.
    D. or equivalent doctoral degree. OR Have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.
    D. or equivalent degree. OR Have successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.

    OR Have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.

    My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
