    Southern Team Automall, Virginias' #1 Volume New Car Dealer is seeking motivated, energetic individuals who are able to learn quickly and start generating results immediately.

    Southern Tean Nissan in Christiansburg, Virginia, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager. Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service within the dealership. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the sales process, including prospecting, customer acquisition, negotiation, and closing deals. The Sales Manager also plays a key role in developing sales strategies, coaching and training sales staff, and ensuring compliance with dealership policies and procedures.

    Candidates must be at least 20 years of age, have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record with no DUI or reckless driving.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all salespeople.
    • Directs sales staffing and training in ways that will enhance the development and control of sales programs.
    • Establishes annual and monthly objectives for unit sales, gross profits, expenses, and operating profit.
    • Monitors salesperson productivity and performance.
    • Administers and monitors factory-sponsored programs.
    • Displays, merchandises, and promotes new- and used-vehicles.
    • Reviews market analyses and sales reports to determine customer needs, and volume potential, and develops sales campaigns to accommodate the goals of the dealership.
    • Serves as liaison between sales department and other departments.
    • Analyzes and controls expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
    • Maintains a professional appearance.
    • Attends managers' meetings as requested.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • At least 3 years of experience at an auto dealership as a Sales Manager or F&I Manager
    • 2 + years of experience in a managerial role
    • Business to business sales experience is a plus
    • Entrepreneurial in nature, with strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
    • Negotiation and sales skills to effectively motivate and lead a team of sales representatives
    • Verifiable sales performance
    • Ability to provide a quality customer experience
    • Knowledge of working within the automotive retail industry of extended hours, evenings and weekends to achieve goals
    • Candidates must have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record (no DUI or reckless driving).
