    Job Title: Associate Attorney (FPP)

    Location: Miami, FL, 33133

    Salary: $75k-100k

    Introduction:

    Our firm is seeking a skilled First Party Property Insurance Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in property insurance law, specializing in representing policyholders in claims, disputes, and litigation related to property damage. This role demands a deep understanding of insurance policies, coverage issues, and the legal complexities of property damage claims.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Legal Representation: Represent clients in claims litigation involving first party property insurance.
    • Coverage Analysis: Analyze and interpret insurance policies to advise clients on coverage matters and potential avenues for claims.
    • Dispute Resolution: Handle coverage disputes, bad faith litigation, and engage in settlement negotiations to resolve claims effectively.
    • Trial and Litigation: Prepare for and participate in trials, manage depositions, discovery processes, and coordinate with expert witnesses.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in the conduct of case management and litigation.
    • Client Advocacy: Provide strategic advice to policyholders, ensuring their rights are protected and advanced throughout the claims process.
    • Risk Assessment: Perform risk analyses and damage assessments to support clients' claims and legal strategies.
    • Document Management: Oversee the appraisal and mediation processes and manage all documentation and case files effectively.
    Qualifications:
    • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
    • Licensed to practice law in Florida.
    • Minimum of 2 years' experience in property insurance law, with a focus on first party claims.
    • Demonstrated expertise in handling catastrophic loss claims and complex legal disputes.
    • Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
    • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
