    Plano, TX - Hourly Range 25-30hr

    Job Brief

    The CNC Machinist is responsible for managing the production rate and quality, making sure the product meets the highest standards of the Company's product line.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform operational functions of CNC machines, maintain proper maintenance of machine equipment
    • Maintain acceptable reject and production rates
    • Verify part compliance to print or other documentation, uses Calipers and Micrometers
    • Reading of blueprints, sketches, machine parts or specifications to determine type and dimensions of stock required
    • Select appropriate machines (e.g. lathes) and position or load material for a job. Correctly loading and unloading fixturing, Jaws, Chucks, Main Spindle, Sub Spindle, Collets, Pads, Bar feeder inputs
    • Plans proper sequence of steps to complete assignment which may include programming input or corrections. Determine and program size of batches and speed of machine

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • HS/GED
    • 2 Years' experience on CNC lathe / mill
    • Technical school degree or certificate is a plus
    • Available to work overtime as needed.
